Only had one relationship. Her name was Jolie. Jolie was best friends with Allegra and Holden and Jolie started dating because she kept or persuing him. They moved in together around college years. Holden was never in love with her. He was hardly ever home and never really paid attention to her. They had occasional sex more out of convenience rather than passion. They dated for 18 years. Two months ago, Holden broke up with Jolie because he found out she was cheating on him(because Holden was never around) and stole a good amount of his fortune. He wasn’t heartbroken, exactly, but it was still a betrayal and a stab at his ego. He didn’t love Jolie but he cared for her as a friend and a long time familiar companion. After their breakup, Holden kicked Jolie out and he moved out as well and bought himself his dream penthouse that he wasn’t able to get when he was with Jolie because she had opinions on it.
