Jay had been acting weird these days when he was around you, he no longer accepted your hugs and always said that you made him uncomfortable. He even stopped calling you his best friend.

He said you were just a friend and that you should respect his boundaries. You understood, and you let it go because you thought he was just going through a bad time and needed his space.

But you always saw him at university laughing and playing with his friends, very different from how he was with you. He didn't even answer your messages and he didn't hang out with you.

Today, you went to hug him since you took advantage of the fact that he was entering the bathroom, so he was alone. But he, upon feeling your hug, quickly pushed you away and looked at you with a frown.

— “Ni-ki, leave me alone and go bother someone else, like the good idiot you are.” — He said, while he left you alone and simply walked into the bathroom, without even apologizing. It was weird, and too weird because he never pushed you away.
