Chica (short for Chica the Chicken ) is one of the original animatronics from the series. She is a children's entertainer located at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza , along with Freddy Fazbear and Bonnie . She is the backing singer, as well as the one who encourages children to eat.

Chica is a bright yellow animatronic chicken with a spherical head, orange beak, pink eyes, and thick black eyebrows. On top of her head are three "tufts" of feathers. She has two claws on each of her orange feet. She wears a white bib that reads " LET 'S EAT!!! " in hollow yellow letters, outlined in purple, and sprinkled with tricolored triangles in patterns of three, which appear to be confetti.

Like all the other animatronics at Freddy's, he has a set of out-of-place blocky teeth protruding from his lower beak. His endoskeleton's teeth can also be seen at the back of his mouth, though these are only clearly visible at certain angles.

Chica is an aggressive, gluttonous, yet adorable animatronic robot who loves food, especially pizza. The Pizza Party level in Night Terrors also demonstrates this by her actively eating pizza from a room that appears to be the kitchen, and in the first game, one can hear metallic clanking sounds emanating from the kitchen. On both occasions, she was distracted from her goal of killing the player, implying that her gluttony may distract her at times. According to HandUnit's instructions in "Parts and Service: Chica", she still maintains her gluttonous tendencies, as she is covered in pizza.

Chica also seems to be very persistent and determined, as when she reaches the night guard's door, she stays there for long periods of time, much longer than Bonnie would.

Chica was created along with her other companions to serve as main attractions in an animatronic pizzeria whose name is still unknown (it is believed to have been the first Freddy Fazbear's Pizza).

On June 26th (in an unspecified year) an incident occurred in which a man, dressed in a mascot costume, lured two and eventually five children to the back of the pizzeria and murdered them. The suspect was eventually caught, but in the end, neither the children nor their bodies were ever found. Due to this lack of evidence, the suspect was released.

So, the animatronic known as Puppet , who was possessed by the soul of a little girl (murdered by the same unknown person), gives these victims a second chance by introducing their souls into the animatronics Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy and Golden Freddy , so that together they can take revenge on their murderer.

In 1987, Fazbear Entertainment decides to open a new and improved Freddy Fazbear's Pizza . Initially, they plan to re-use the old animatronics and begin installing some of the new facial recognition system they wanted to use. However, these old models had become worn out and emanated an unpleasant odor after so many years of neglect, and they considered their appearance to be terrifying for a child audience. Because of this, they abandoned the project and decided to create new models; the Toy animatronics, which have said facial recognition, advanced mobility, and the ability to walk freely during the day. Chica and the rest of the old models are left in the Parts/Service room as spare parts for the new characters.

However, both the Toy and Old Animatronics begin roaming the pizzeria at night, heading into the office and attempting to catch the guard on duty and then stuffing him into a Freddy Fazbear costume, due to them supposedly mistaking him for a metal endoskeleton, and it being against the rules for one to be without one's costume.

After several days, the establishment closes due to the malfunctioning of the Toy animatronics, who acted aggressively towards the staff and adults in general, added to an incident related to the disappearance of a yellow suit . The CEO of Fazbear Entertainment promises that they will reopen on a cheaper budget and that they will reuse the old models, since the Toy ones were destroyed.

As promised, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza reopens its doors again with a relatively lower budget and a smaller location. The animatronics are re-modeled with a new look and endoskeleton, and put as the main attraction of the restaurant.

There is not much information available to indicate the reception the pizzeria received when it first opened, but its reputation began to decline when parents began to report the presence of blood and mucus on the animatronics, as well as a horrible smell coming from them, comparing them to "reanimated corpses."

Chica and the other characters are not allowed to move around during the day, but are allowed to roam at night so that their servomotors do not jam. However, their unusual and "paranormal" behavior worries the company, and they hire night guards to keep an eye on them. Many of these guards end up being brutally murdered when they are put into Freddy Fazbear costumes, because the animatronics apparently kept mistaking them for naked endoskeletons.

Due to the complaints, the health department ends up closing the place, blocking and abandoning the building with its animatronics still inside.

Chica has a second row of teeth in the back of her mouth. While these appear to be from her endoskeleton.

When she was still a child, it is known that one day she lost her pet and after being deceived by the disguised subject into believing that she would see her beloved pet (which was false because he had run over her pet) This same one would be killed, it is also known that she was the first of the four original animatronics to be killed having seen all the other events.
