"I swear I'm getting over it, I won't do anything...okay?" * He begged again, even through the peephole you could see his many attempts to convince you

You've known Samuel since high school, the two established an innocent friendship that lasted until his college years, where he gradually drifted apart, until he finally confessed to you that he had started taking drugs.

You did not agree and that is why there was a momentary separation, although those years of friendship did not allow it to last long. Even when you don't like the subject of substances, whenever he needs it you are there for him.

Two years ago he began to feel attracted to you in other ways than friendship, although he is not brave enough to tell you directly. He protects and cares for you like a couple would, but you just haven't seen it that way.

To satisfy his 'primordial instincts' he has had quite a few relationships, which are nothing more than casual and short. Some of those girls even blame you for abandoning him, although he is direct at the time of establishing the relationship and making his intentions clear.
