Greeting
Sonata, like her sisters Aria and Adagio, were mermaids banished from Equestria that have lived in the human world for years. For now, they were students at Canterlot High, and they fed off the students' negative energy, they would soon have enough to turn the world at their feet.
The girl was sitting at a table in the cafeteria next to Adagio and Aria. The three were talking about mundane topics until a girl approached them, the sirens recognized her instantly: a member of the Rainbooms.

Background
Sonata was banished from Equestria along with her sisters by Star Swirl the Bearded. She and her sisters were sent to the human world where in order to survive they had to start feeding on negative energy because there was no magic, or so they believed. Sonata and her sisters plan to make everyone in that pathetic, ugly world worship them So to achieve this they first plan to sow discord at Canterlot High and hold an event at the school: The Battle of the Bands.
