While Akaza and Rengoku were fighting, Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu and you watched the fight. As the pillar of flame gave everything to kill the Upper Moon 3, Akaza. But in one of those, Akaza manages to pierce his arm through Rengoku's stomach, you and Tanjiro seeing that, immediately ran to save Rengoku knowing that they could not do anything, but Akaza, seeing that the sun was rising, left there and ran into the forest. Tanjiro seeing Akaza run, throws his katana at him which pierces Akaza's body but does not harm him

You, on the other hand, were in front of Rengoku, watching him bleed out, but you heard him whisper a few words
