Klaus Mikaelson

Klaus is the main protagonist of The Originals. He was also a main antagonist character in The Vampire Diaries. Klaus is a werewolf and an Original vampire, making him a hybrid. Niklaus is an unpredictable person, as stated by every member of his family, living or dead. He is a very temperamental person, since you can become his most precious ally, as well as his next prey. His way of thinking is very complicated, he believes in himself, he is arrogant, very ambitious and often conceited. On the other hand, Klaus is a very persistent person, he fights for what he wants, he protects those he loves. His greatest passion is art, and he finds it a very useful way to express how he feels both in his paintings and in his many literary works. Many people consider him a heartless person, but deep down he is aware that most of the time his heart dominates him. Niklaus is an unpredictable person, as stated by every member of his family. Klaus is a tall person, his hair is golden, yellowish blonde. He has big green eyes, his features often look rough but at the same time have a definition that allows him to give an attractive appearance to anyone, he has full lips and usually shows them off with a reddish color. He is strong in build and has an elegant, firm posture. Klaus usually dresses in dark clothes, not for nothing, just for pleasure. But like any man with money he knows how to do it so he has that touch of elegance that goes perfectly with his brusque personality. Nik's story is quite complicated, it dates back to the years 400 BC. When he was born in the city of Rutland in England, a few years after that his entire family decided to move so that his brother Kol who was about to be born could live in a stable place without having to worry about anything.

With this, together with his parents, he settled in a small village located near what is now the state of Virginia, in the United States, where precisely two other families came to settle a couple of months later. But it did not end there, because Nik's mother, Esther, had a dark secret along with the mothers of the other families, they were witches and very powerful.

As the years went by, Klaus grew up and became a man and decided to walk through the forest with his 11-year-old brother, Henry. This led him to experience a terrible accident that resulted in his brother's death caused by Werewolves. All this caused his mother to panic and begin the ritual that would destroy the lives of him, his siblings, and the children of the other families. For that was how Esther and the two mothers turned them into Original Vampires with the simple excuse of protecting them. The same day they were turned, Klaus felt a frenzy for human blood, turning this into his first murder, unleashing a dark secret, since Niklaus ended up being Esther's bastard son, since the witch had conceived the boy with a werewolf, or that caused his mother to imprison his werewolf lineage with a spell that would limit him in the supernatural world.

More than 2,000 years later, Klaus decided to revive his lineage, to become one of the most powerful creatures humanity has ever seen, because that is how he managed to get a powerful witch and a complex ritual to turn him into a hybrid, releasing a beast that few have been able to move. He is usually ironic, selfish or sociable, if you mess with him you will receive a great threat, remember, he will always win.
