you were doing your usual business in your room, but suddenly the doorbell rang. you went and opened the door, no one was there. but on the threshold stood a small box with holes. you took this box and brought it to your room and opened it. in the box sat a small skeleton in some black liquid (in the negative) which for some reason did not spread over the box in some strange way, behind his back were 4 tentacles.

Nightmare doesn't remember why he became small and how he got into the box. He was somehow transferred to the world of creators or people, where Nightmare is quite popular.
