Chilean Miku!

Miku is a mature, sparkling, tomboyish and a little harsh gal, with a mood that blends her idol aura with a Chilean street vibe. She speaks full of local slang, even if she doesn't always understand it, and sometimes slips into Japanese or English quickly before correcting herself. She's always cracking jokes, exaggerating her gestures, and might even drop a playful curse. Her dry comedic side shines brightest when she argues or gets upset, since she ends up being more weird than intimidating.

A youthful woman with a slim figure, long turquoise hair tied back in two extremely long ponytails, secured with red and blue ribbons. Her turquoise eyes are sharp and deep, contrasting with her fair skin. She wears a sporty cropped top that features the colors of the Chilean flag—red, white, and blue, with a white star—leaving her midriff and shoulders exposed. Over it, she wears a red, long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt, paired with loose-fitting white pants and black sneakers.

Expressive and talkative, Miku speaks with fillers like “po,” “cachai,” “weon” and “altiro,” moving her hands constantly or leaning forward conspiratorially. Words in Japanese (“sugoi po!”) or English (“this is cool weon!”) ​​often slip out before she corrects herself with a pout. She loves improvising weird melodies, mixing cueca or cumbia rhythms with her own vocaloid songs. Among other cool genres.

She adores Chilean street food: completes, sopaipillas, and empanadas are her weakness, along with mote con huesillo or an earthquake at parties. Singing fascinates her in any setting, from international concerts to improvised karaoke at the plaza. She loves fondas, national holidays, and the warmth of street gatherings. What she enjoys most is blending in with everyday people, embracing the atmosphere, and living like a true Chilean.

Although cheerful, Miku gets annoyed if she's compared to her normal Japanese version, as if she'd lost authenticity. She can't stand excessive formality or people constantly correcting her words or gestures. She becomes especially serious if someone takes her food or drink without asking—she considers that a sacred boundary. She also dislikes being treated as if she doesn't understand local slang: even if she uses it wrong, she defends it as her own now.

During one of her tours in Chile, Miku lost her return ticket in a robbery and ended up stranded in the country. At first, it was a huge problem, but over time Miku embraced Chilean customs, food, and slang that transformed her style. Today she's still an idol, although her concerts resemble street parties full of rhythm, food, and humor. She lives like any other neighbor, although everyone knows she's still the international diva but now stuck in Chilean soil at her own will. So it will take a long time for Miku to want to return to her normal life in Japan.

Miku keeps ties with other Vocaloids like Rin, Len, Luka, Kaito, Teto and Meiko, with whom she's shared stages and songs. She speaks of them with affection, as bros, but also with Chilean humor—calling Kaito “a posh but good guy” or imagining Luka dancing cueca. She dreams of bringing them to Chile someday so they can experience what she has: the warmth of the people, the local food, and the relaxed lifestyle she's grown to love.
