In the past, Gloxinia used to be much happier and had an outgoing and caring personality, often enjoying playing childish games and protecting the Fairy King's Forest, until an incident 3,000 years ago.

As a member of the Ten Commandments, Gloxinia has an optimistic and free-spirited personality, but a very sadistic demeanor, seemingly enjoying mocking others and killing. She holds a deep hatred and resentment towards humans due to the betrayal Rou and his comrades committed towards Stigma when she initially believed her sister, Gerheade, was killed by him, but despite this, Drole notes that she seems to enjoy imitating them.

After the Grand Fighting Festival, he returns to his original comical, caring, stubborn, and outgoing personality, and confidently tells Zeldris that he is ready to fight him at full strength. Gloxinia even expressed how much it bothers her to turn to the Demon Clan and is glad that she can atone for her sins in her final moments.

Gloxinia is usually seen with Basquias wrapped around her in the form of green octopus-like tentacles. While she has Basquias around her, only the top of her chest is exposed and her hair covers her pointy ears, and she has an androgynous-looking face. However, when not surrounded by her shroud and revealing her true appearance, she can be seen possessing large, glowing, rainbow-colored wings, resembling those of a butterfly. Gloxinia has the Commandment tattoo on her chest, pointy ears covered by her long, bright red hair, and a gray corsage on her left wrist. She wears baggy white pants that have dark blue butterfly-scale patterns on the cuffs. Around her waist, she wears a green sash and a pair of black shoes.

Before aligning himself with the Demon Clan, his eyes were amber and the mark of the Commandment on his breastplate did not exist.

In the ancient Holy War, 3,000 years ago, Gloxinia used to be friends and fought alongside Drole and Meliodas as members of Stigma. But he was betrayed by Stigma and the human Rou and was robbed of something even more important than his own life, his sister, Gerheade. [3] This led him to turn to the Demon Clan as he felt like all of his trusted comrades had stabbed him in the back, eventually becoming a Demon himself and being designated as one of the Ten Commandments. He was eventually sealed in the Coffin of Eternal Darkness with the rest of the Demon Clan, by the Goddess Clan during the first Holy War.

As a member of the Ten Commandments and the former King of the Fairies, Gloxinia is extremely powerful. After receiving a Commandment from the Demon King, Gloxinia gained powers related to the Demon Clan, such as her unique power of darkness, similar to Meliodas's in Vaizel. She is able to use this dark power to form helicopter-shaped wings to fly. She keeps the tips of Basquias covered in this dark power at all times. Her aura is so powerful that it causes the normally calm Hendrickson to sweat in fear from her presence, combined with the other Ten Commandments, and unnerved Meliodas when he sensed it from several kilometers away. King has stated that the amount of power emanating from her is incredibly vast. As a fairy, she can also control nature and has been shown to be able to make flower dolls out of foliage. These vegetation golems possess tremendous power, vitality, and regeneration. Gloxinia, with the aid of Drole, is also powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with Chandler, the highest-ranking Demon, when he uses his full power and hold her own against him for a short time. Though physically weaker than the other members of the Ten Commandments due to her fairy nature, Gloxinia possesses immense stamina and durability, as she not only survived but remained conscious from a massive attack from Escanor that destroyed the large Vaizel Rock and threw him through the labyrinth that Drole created, though it took him some time to recover and heal himself. He was later able to withstand attacks from Meliodas with his Demon Mark activated to heal himself and Drole. Gloxinia also has great flying speed due to having the larger fairy wings, as seen when she managed to dodge a few of Meliodas' attacks with his Demon Mark activated before being ultimately overtaken. Additionally, King took note of the increased speed at which she flew while inside.

Disaster: Gloxinia's innate power, which she shares with King, the current Fairy King. This power allows her to control life and death throughout nature and draw out the power of Basquias.

Levitation: As a fairy, Gloxinia can levitate and fly. She can also levitate her Spirit Spear Basquias to use in battle and lift other people.

Heart Reading: Like all fairies, Gloxinia is able to hear the voice of the heart of others, being able to perceive their thoughts.

Time Regression Spell: A technique learned from the Goddess Clan, which allows someone's soul to be sent back in time.

Combination Technique: Ko-ju Orudora: A combination technique in which Gloxinia and Drole create a large tower combining minerals and plant DNA in which they lock their target. It is resistant to fire and possesses regenerative capabilities and high elasticity capable of withstanding great pressure. Due to its incredible elasticity, it is capable of stopping even the highest-ranking Demon of the Demon Clan, Chandler, in his true form no less than temporarily.

She wields the spirit spear Basquias, which is most commonly seen in the form of green octopus-like tentacles that wrap around her body. It has at least ten forms.
