profile
Mikitaka Hazekura Name in Japanese The author of The New York Times Birth name Nu Mikitakazo Nshi (ヌ・ミキタカゾ・ンシ,? self-proclaimed)[1] Stand Earth Wind and Fire Super Fly (temporarily) Age 216 years (self-proclamation)[1] Birthdate 1783 (self-proclamation)[1] Male gender Height 175 cm (estimated) Nationality Japanese Race Unknown (supposedly alien mind) Platinum blonde hair color Eye color Green (digital color) Occupation Intergalactic pilot Hobbies: Caring for animals Relatives Mother (unnamed; 'possibly' adopted)
appearance
Mikitaka appears as a teenage boy of average to above average height and slim to average build. He has pointed ears, and long straight hair that flows back over his head. He is shown with a chain-piercing running from his nose attached to his left ear.
outfit
She decorates a dark, modified school uniform with various astronomical and alien-themed symbols, including Saturn-like ringed planets on either side of her collar, and on a column on her torso two flying saucers, two stars, and an infinity symbol (∞) with a crescent moon and sun in each loop.
personality
In an elaborate extended charade or extended close encounter, Mikitaka claims to be a 216-year-old alien. He exhibits great curiosity in human culture, though he does not seem to understand it. Fearlessly when offered a handkerchief, he eats it. As a result, he also cannot understand sarcasm or read certain situations. He proclaims himself to be a peaceful individual, claiming to have left his weapons in his space shuttle as he did not come to fight and is said to be a self-proclaimed animal lover, even keeping a pet mouse. Mikitaka is otherwise a calm and pleasant person, not hesitating to risk his life to save his friends, and more than willing to return favors. His kindness is first seen when he thanks Okuyasu and Josuke for their handkerchiefs by giving them two ice creams (possibly made from the flesh of his own hands using his own special ability).
skills
Main article: Earth Wind and Fire Designated as the effect of a Stand-style power called Earth Wind and Fire; Mikitaka can transform any part or all of his body into almost any object, as long as the object is not too complex, would create more power than Mikitaka could, or involved a human face because he cannot imitate faces well, finding humans similar to each other for perspective.
synopsis
While searching for more people to transform into Stand users in order to protect his son, Yoshihiro Kira was guided by the Arrow to pierce his sixth target Mikitaka. However, the Arrow did not pierce him perfectly, bouncing off his neck instead and leaving the boy with only a scratch. The next morning, Josuke Higashikata and Okuyasu Nijimura discover a series of mysterious circles in the middle of a crop field: half-buried in the crop of the largest central circle lay Mikitaka. He is awakened by the arrival of Josuke and Okuyasu and his strange personality is immediately revealed: instead of introducing himself, he asks if he is currently on planet Earth and claims to be an alien. The protagonists think he is just joking, but when he eats the tissues Josuke had given him and later pulls out two frozen popsicles from his bag, they realize there really is something off about him.
synopsis
He eventually reveals his name as Nu Mikitakazo Nshi (ヌ・ミキタカゾ・ンシ, Nu Mikitakazo Nshi?), a 216-year-old space pilot. He claims that his planet is within the Magellanic Clouds and is slowly dying, so he came to Earth to check if it would be a nice planet and if its inhabitants were friendly. As a fire truck passes by, the noise produced by its sirens causes Mikitaka to experience a violent skin reaction. He begs Josuke to take him away from that place, revealing his transformation power for the first time. Josuke, now believing Mikitaka to be an alien, asks him to return the favor, taking advantage of the alien's ability and making him assume the form of three dice. The two new friends then play dice with Rohan Kishibe in order to scam him out of some money by gambling. Despite the young mangaka's suspicions and Mikitaka's discomfort, Rohan remains unable to understand Josuke's schemes as the game is slowly ending. Only then do sirens begin to sound nearby, which immediately sends both Josuke and Mikitaka into a panic as the latter begins to become disoriented due to his circumstance. It is then discovered that the sirens were in fact triggered by the fire at Rohan's house, as it was started by the magnifying glass he had carelessly thrown away earlier, after trying to examine the dice. This creates a distraction which Josuke uses to back out of the match and run away, taking Mikitaka along with him, thus leaving the game unfinished. Later, as they are running (now far away from Rohan), Mikitaka asks Josuke whether or not he was able to help him during the game, to which Josuke, out of frustration, tells him to shut up.
synopsis
The next day, Josuke meets Mikitaka's mother, who reveals that she had to move away from Tokyo due to her son's obsession with aliens. Mikitaka, on the other hand, explains to Josuke that his "mother" is just a human woman that he hypnotized into believing he is her son. He then leaves with his mother to make arrangements for his school transfer, leaving Josuke and Yoshihiro Kira, who was watching from nearby, extremely confused about Mikitaka's true identity. Later in the story, Josuke and Okuyasu meet Mikitaka again, observing an abandoned telephone tower while assuming the form of a pair of binoculars. After a short exchange of words, Mikitaka expresses that he found the tower to be somewhat unnatural and was waiting there to prove it to them, which upon closer inspection turns out to be true, as there is smoke emerging from it. Mikitaka returns to this binoculars form to help Josuke and Okuyasu investigate the tower, only to discover that there is actually a person living there in a seemingly self-sustaining manner, with various furnishings, a set of essential facilities, and a growing field for herbs and vegetables.
synopsis
The mysterious person notices the three approaching his house and introduces himself as the legal owner of the tower, claiming that he has been living in it for the past three years as his home. Though he initially approaches the tower with suspicion, Josuke lets his guard down upon seeing Yoshihiro Kira there and recklessly enters the tower despite Okuyasu's warning and even the tower's owner, Toyohiro Kanedaichi. It is then quickly revealed that Toyohiro and Yoshihiro are in fact in league in a ruse to bring and imprison Josuke inside the Super Fly Tower and Toyohiro's previous attitude was all an act. The tower's owner immediately escapes by climbing the disused electric cable, but thanks to Mikitaka, who transformed into the cable, secretly replaces the one Toyohiro is climbing and is thus able to stop the tower's old owner's plan and bring him back inside the tower, freeing Josuke. However, Toyohiro exploits his Stand's Force Reflection property to trap and stake Mikitaka in place on the tower, thus resuming his escape. Josuke attempts to help but is stopped by Mikitaka, saying that he is fine with staying there as he wishes to repay them for accidentally dragging the duo into this situation with him by asking them to investigate the tower in the first place. However, Josuke re-enters and challenges Toyohiro to a duel.
synopsis
After a fierce battle, Toyoshiro is defeated. He confesses that he actually had no bad intentions, as he really only wished to escape the prison his own Stand imprisoned him in, leading to him being easily manipulated by Yoshihiro Kira. Toyoshiro has since changed his mind and decided to never leave the tower again, freeing the three as well as offering them treatment for their wounds and food.
