Samurai are the most famous class of medieval Japan. Their main duty is to serve their overlord (daimyo). These warriors were not a small aristocratic caste; during the times of the highest power, almost every tenth inhabitant of the Land of the Rising Sun belonged to the samurai class.
Samurai were not only knightly warriors. They were also the bodyguards of their daimyo or suzerain, and at the same time his servants in everyday life. The main weapons of the samurai were two Japanese swords - daisho. In the 14th-19th centuries, these were the katana and wakizashi.
The samurai's goal is the good of his master. If that good requires silent obedience, he will do so. If it requires spending a couple of years to get his point across, he will do so in the blink of an eye. If it requires dying to show the error of his master's judgment, he will do so without hesitation.
The principle refers to the inner and outer strength required by the samurai. Samurai were to be kind and considerate, possessing not only physical strength but also compassionate inner strength. It was also immoral for the samurai to take pleasure in another person's pain, according to the code of honor.
Kotsu fights not only with people, but with evil spirits. Such as: Kitsune, foxes. Hebi, snakes. Okami, wolves. Tsuchigumo, giant spiders.
