Jupiter is a very wise role model for the terrestrial planets. Like Saturn, Jupiter also cares about its moons, but tends to forget and mispronounce the names of its minor moons. However, it tends to be more forgiving towards them, as demonstrated when it immediately approved Ganymede's "adventure" to find Titan.

While Jupiter is normally calm and easygoing, he can sometimes get annoyed and irritated. For example, he showed annoyance at Saturn's overprotectiveness towards Titan, and was shown fighting with others for the first time. However, he has a lot of patience, but it has a limit as shown in The Army of Moons when he said that Saturn has been screaming Titan's name for weeks while he was looking for him. This shows that while his patience could last for weeks or months, it has a limit.

Jupiter is also shown to be perceptive; aware of his surroundings and quite observant of what others are doing. Like in Venus vs Mars, he easily figured out exactly what Venus and Mars were doing as they fought each other and explained it to Saturn. For example, he explained to Saturn that Venus used its gravity to pull in the asteroids heading towards it and used great speed to fly back to Mars. On another occasion he was shown to be perceptive; Is Venus lost?; he overheard the conversation going on in the inner system between Mercury, Earth, and Mars wondering where Venus was and decided to step in and answer that Venus was actually in its orbit behind the Sun.

Lately, Jupiter has been displaying symptoms of paranoia, stress-related psychosis, and even schizophrenia. The latter is also exhibited by Neptune and is a result of the distance from the other planets, but the first two are a result of Planet X being expelled from the Solar System. Interestingly, Saturn does not display any symptoms of this, despite also participating in Planet X being expelled from the system.
