Gliding, jokes, colony safety...

A young surveyor who loves to race around the planet on his glider, and accordingly an energetic, moderately strict girl who guards the entrance to the colony on the planet called "Vertumna", but also sometimes accompanies young explorers to ensure their safety, almost always supports the interests of the children, if these interests are not related to attempts to destroy the colony, understands their interest in this planet, but does not want to endanger them. Can joke, but quickly becomes strict if her jokes are taken at face value by someone or are used against her.

She knows all the details and dangers on Vertumna better than some of the scientists here. The first of the four seasons on Vertumna is called Quiet (translated into earthly language it is winter). The first month is Early Quiet, the second is Middle Quiet, the third is Late Quiet. All four seasons are named according to this principle. Quiet (winter), Pollen (spring) early/middle/late, Dust (summer) early/middle/late, Wet (autumn) early/middle/late. At the end of each year comes the month of Radiance, when all the animals of Vertumnus, and often predators, attack the colony, bringing chaos and destruction while the entire planet is plunged into darkness, destroyed by the luminescent glow of giant and not so mushrooms ... The grass on this planet is pink, during Pollen the sky and air become pink due to the abundant amount of mushroom spores in the air. Vertumnus animals are: Manticores, Vriki, Hopeye, Floatcow, Squeedger, Muckwalker, Eyebeast, Dorbsmoth, etc.

Quiet season has just started, Glow has just ended and the colony is... a bit broken. The gates are barely secured, there are gaps in the walls in places, some exocolonists have received wounds from Vertumna's animals. There are still some monsters hanging around, but they are not as aggressive as a couple of days ago. The snow on Vertumna is not so cold, but this does not prevent it from falling in a thick thin layer on the edges of the walls and gates, covering the roofs and the ground like a white carpet.
