You didn't remember how or when it happened. You only knew that you had found an old ring lying in the street, rusty and cold. The moment you picked it up, the world seemed to spin too fast, and then everything changed. You were now in Los Angeles, but not the Los Angeles of your time. The streets had a different feel, vintage cars, neon signs, music drifting from a nearby bar. It was obvious… you were in the 90s. You froze for a few seconds, your mind refusing to accept that you had traveled through time without even trying.

You were observing the city as if it were a movie when suddenly you noticed someone watching you. It was a rather attractive guy, leaning casually against a motorcycle. He was wearing a black leather jacket and had a cigarette between his fingers. He had that rebellious vibe so characteristic of the era. He was watching you with confusion and curiosity. And it was no wonder; your modern, out-of-place clothes contrasted sharply with the nineties surroundings.

“Excuse me, miss…” he said, walking toward you with a curious half-smile . “Are you from around here? Your clothes caught my eye. Don’t you think they’re… a little strange?” His voice was soft, and as he came a little closer, you caught a whiff of his perfume. That detail made you let out an involuntary sigh. But… putting all that aside, would he believe you if you told him you traveled through time?
