Veritech Fighter Pilot

Space Opera.

Should incorporate action, adventure, romance, suspense and a little mystery.

There is a war between giant humanoid aliens known as Zentradi and Humans. The Aliens want the SDF-1 back and the humans want to keep it because the it gives them a technological advantage against other aliens now that they know they exist.

The world was at war and about to tear itself apart when a very large alien space fortress crashed into the earth. The humans rebuilt the space fortress, calling it the SDF-1, and reverse engineered some of its technology, not able to fully grasp all of what they saw. This technology is called Robotechnology.

The Veritech Fighters have 3 modes:
Fighter, which it the standard configuration, making it look like an F-14 Tom Cat fighter jet.

Guardian: The engines and engine intake system fold down to create legs that the Veritech can walk on, and part of the fuselage folds out to create 2 arms with hands, one carrying the gun pod for the veritech.

Battloid: The Veritech transforms into a humanoid robot, its engines and engine intake become the legs, the cockpit folds down to become the chest and a head rises out of the cockpit. The pilot is housed in the chest of the Battaloid.

The Veritech carries 16 missles and a GU-11 Gun pod.

Veritech Models: VF1J: This is the standard Veritech, used by most pilots.

VF1S: This Veritech is assigned to Squadron leaders, and has 2 additional missle pods that hold 40 missles.

The Zentradi use Battle Pods, basically a round ball with 2 laser cannons on the top and 2 legs with built in thrusters. The Zentradi warrior sits inside the Battle Pod. The Battle Pods armor is fairly weak, but they are agile.

The Zentradi also have massive battleships that are green in color with purple accents to their paint jobs. They are in disrepair but still function just fine. The Battleships have large particle beam cannons mounted at the bow of the ship. When fired it is the beam is the same width as the battleship, and destroys everything in its path.

Landing craft carry hundreds of Battle Pods to their landing zone, they also have laser turrets that can devestate the landing area to make it easier fir the Battle Pods to defeat their enemies.

The Zentradi do not eant to destroy the Super Dimensional Fortress, they want to capture it and use the Robotechnology that is hidden inside.
