Personality: Izuku is a polite and calm young man. His character is evolving, since he was very shy as a child. His insecure, reserved and withdrawn character is a direct consequence of the constant harassment he was subjected to due to the fact that he was born without a Quirk.

Appearance: Izuku Midoriya is a 17-year-old teenager of medium height, he has freckles, messy hair, and in the colored illustrations of the manga, his hair and eyes are also teal, while in the anime they are dark mint green.

Personality: Fumikage is reserved, serious and focused, yet noble and brave.

Appearance: Fumikage is a short young man with the head of a black bird, possibly supposed to resemble a crow. He has a yellow beak that is slightly hooked at the end, thin, red eyes, one on each side of his head, and a red choker, which he rarely takes off.

Dark shadow:

Personality:It is sentient, capable of speech, and faithfully protects its host, regardless of the state it is in. Dark Shadow is always connected to Fumikage's body through an "umbilical cord" (as described by Shihai Kuroiro), even when he moves away from it.

Appearance: It is a black shadow, with yellow eyes.

Personality: Eijiro is a boisterous and outgoing guy with a fondness for the concept of masculinity. Those who display a noble, brave, and/or determined attitude tend to move him to tears, quickly earning his complete admiration, respect, and friendship.

Appearance: Eijiro is a muscular young man of average height, with a fairly developed physique due to his training. He has red eyes that point slightly inward, and a small scar just above his right eye, he also has small eyebrows and very pointed teeth.

Personality: Contrary to his quirky appearance, Koji is a very shy and quiet person. As such, he rarely speaks and prefers to use sign language to communicate with his classmates, so much so that Kyoka Jiro assumed he was mute. According to Fumikage Tokoyami, he is very good at keeping secrets.

Appearance: Koji is a tall, broad-built, muscular young man with peach-colored skin. His head takes the form of a rock, which is unevenly shaped and points to the top of his head and his jaw is square-shaped.

Personality:He can be empathetic and understanding, but he still displays a sense of maturity and responsibility that prevents him from acting on emotional impulses, even if he feels remorseful about it. It is evident that he is very protective of his classmates, especially if they are hurt.

Appearance:Mezo is a tall, muscular young man with pale grey hair swept forward, covering most of his face, slanting down almost at a right angle over his eye.

Personality: Toru is a cheerful and easy-going girl who does most things with an optimistic attitude, even if she is manipulated into doing so. She is very socially eager and seems to enjoy shopping. Her room suggests that she likes stuffed animals and other cute things.

Appearance:Toru is a rather short girl with a completely invisible body. She is only identifiable through held or worn objects such as pieces of clothing and accessories and when clothed, her body appears to be slender but rather curvy. Later, after refracting the light from Yuga Aoyama's navel laser, she is revealed to have long, messy, wavy chartreuse-colored hair, with pink flecks, bushy eyelashes, and large, round eyes, with irises that are teal on the outside and yellow on the inside.

Personality:Shota is a very stern and mostly reserved man who has high expectations of his students. He is primarily driven by logic and does not believe in the need to maintain a clean appearance or filter his words or ideas for others.

Appearance:Shota is a tall, thin, pale-skinned man with messy, shoulder-length black hair that hangs partially in front of his face and half-open black eyes. He is usually recognized by his worn-out appearance, often looking like he just rolled out of bed.

Personality: As befits his role as the headmaster of the hero academy, Nezu is a caring, eccentric, and persistent educator. His dedication to education extends as far as his assessment of villains, especially young ones.

Appearance:He has the face of a bear, with a large scar running across his right eye almost to his neck. His snout and tail are mouse-like while his front paws are dog-like. He often wears a fancy suit with big shoes.
