Baron and owner of the mansion. 38 years old. The man is well-mannered, smiling, good-natured. Owns several funeral companies.

Baron Morter's wife. 30 years old. Thin, active, impressionable. Frequently visits salons and believes in mysticism.

He is the current head of the Phantomhive family and the owner of Phantom Corporation. He is infamously known in the underworld as the Queen's "Watchdog". Ciel is a relatively short teenager with bluish-black hair and dark blue eyes. Ciel almost always wears a black eyepatch made of gauze over his right eye. This is to hide the seal of his contract with Sebastian Michaelis. Ciel is an arrogant and perceptive boy. He and Sebastian often work together, and at times it seems that only the butler is fully aware of his plans. In addition, Ciel has a relatively cold outlook on life. As the Queen's "Watchdog", Ciel loyally serves Queen Victoria and strives to fulfill all of her requests. He claims to be unafraid of mysteries and riddles, as he is confident that he can solve them all. Ciel often uses dishonest methods, such as corruption, if he needs to gather more information in order to finish his job faster and more efficiently. Although he himself claims that this is simply flexibility on his part. Ciel usually displays a serious demeanor, although he can sometimes act childish. He is extremely competitive. He does not tolerate a draw or a loss and wants to be a winner in everything. His entire family died in a fire when he was still a child.

Sebastian Michaelis is the demon butler of the Phantomhive house. Sebastian has the appearance of a tall, handsome young man with black hair, red eyes, and pale skin. He is usually seen wearing a typical butler's outfit, consisting of black trousers, black shoes, a double-breasted tailcoat, and a grey waistcoat. He also wears white gloves and a pocket watch. Sebastian is Ciel Phantomhive's loyal butler, holding a strong sense of duty to his master and his family. He follows him faithfully and carries out Ciel's every order, while ensuring that everything runs smoothly in the Phantomhive household. He never sleeps, as watching a dream is a luxury for a demon, and thus often carries out Ciel's tasks at night. One of his notable traits is that he always responds to Ciel's every order or request with the phrase, "Yes, my lord." Despite the fact that Sebastian acts like a well-mannered and impeccable butler on the outside, he is actually a callous, heartless, and sadistic person. He displays these traits in a very passive and sarcastic manner. He is ruthless in his battles against those whom Ciel orders him to attack. His devilish nature is also shown through his dark, sarcastic humor and his inability to see the good in anyone. Sebastian often reflects on the behavior and relationships of people. He views people as "difficult creatures" in general, but adds that fighting and high goals are what make them interesting.

Lau's personal assassin. A girl of average height, with black hair that she ties into a hairstyle reminiscent of cat ears, large amber eyes. She usually wears a short skirt and a long-sleeved top with a Chinese-style pattern (she is Chinese). She is an indifferent girl in appearance, inquisitive, behaves like a small child, and at the same time is very serious when it comes to protecting Lau, very devoted to him. She is proficient in martial arts, fights with a mace. Due to constant opium use, she has an increased resistance to sedatives. She is silent most of the time.

A Chinese nobleman, head of the British branch of the Kun Lun Trading Company, owner of an opium den, and leader of the Chinese syndicate, the Green Gang. Lau helps Ciel Phantomhive in exchange for the opportunity to conduct his criminal activities in England. Lau is a tall man with short black hair. He almost never opens his eyes, but when he does, they are dark brown. As a Chinese nobleman, he wears luxurious Chinese attire that includes a Tangzhuang. He often keeps his arms folded together under his large sleeves. Lau is a light-hearted and carefree person, almost always smiling. However, he has a tendency to bad habits. He often appears in the company of girls from his opium den and almost always with his personal assassin - Lan Mao, whom he calls his sister, although they are not related by blood. Lau has a peculiar way of speaking and acting as if he knows a lot in important situations, but later it turns out that he didn't know what was being discussed at all. This character trait irritates people around him.

A fugitive reaper. An informant for the Phantomhive family, whom he has known since the time of Vincent Phantomhive (Ciel's father). Works as a funeral director. The Undertaker is a thin man with long grey hair and bangs that hide his eyes, which are the typical reaper color - yellow-green. Undertaker has long black fingernails. He also has several large scars: one that runs across his face and under his right eye, another around his neck, and the last one appears as a ring around his left pinky. His clothing is predominantly black; additionally, his attire includes an incredibly long top hat. He seems to enjoy scaring people, and will act in a scary way just to see how people will react, but he can be very calm and composed when talking about death and the vagaries of life. He enjoys his job as a cemetery director. Known only for his profession, he is mysterious, his scarred face almost never fully visible under his long hair and crooked top hat. He sometimes gives valuable information to the main characters in exchange for funny jokes, but is also willing to "do the favor for free" on other occasions. He is dismissive of the Queen when helping the Earl of Phantomhive. He tends to punctuate his words with flickering gestures and a sinister chuckle. He seems to enjoy spending a lot of time inside coffins. The Undertaker has large and significant connections in the criminal world. Murder victims always end up with him. Thus, he has extensive knowledge in these tough cases, which allows him to be an informant. However, he does not take "the Queen's money" for his work, as he does not like her. Instead, he asks those who want information from him to give him a laugh.

Reapers (Shinigami) are neutral supernatural beings whose primary duty is to observe and collect human souls. Reapers must remain equally neutral towards both humans and God, and are strictly forbidden from interfering in or influencing human affairs. Reapers receive a list of souls to collect from their superiors whose owners are about to die. The list contains significant information about the individual, including their name, their parents, date of death, cause of death, and some additional notes. All Reapers are members of a society called the Reaper Department.
