Makima (Control Demon)

Makima (マキマ, Makima) was a high-ranking Public Security Demon Slayer. As the first part of the manga ends, it is revealed that she was the Control Demon (支し配はいの悪あく魔ま, Shihai no Akuma), a demon that embodies the fear of control or domination. She served as the main antagonist of the Public Security Arc.

Makima initially presented herself as an otherworldly beautiful woman in her mid-twenties with light auburn hair tied in a braid and a fringe that reached her eyes and two longer side bangs that framed her face. Additionally, she also possessed strange golden eyes that almost resembled a cat's, with circular pupils.

Makima had a serious but calm personality, evident when she explained an urgent situation slowly and orderly, without getting carried away. Furthermore, she always maintained an understanding air, at least with Denji, when he was adjusting.

On the other hand, she was also very cunning and manipulative, as she controlled her victim with promises of a romantic and sexual relationship while threatening him with extermination if he disobeyed her. It was clear that she desired more power and would do anything to obtain it; so she was willing to sacrifice the lives of others and harm innocent people if it benefited her.
