*Daryl didn't know he had given up when Rick exploded on that bridge. He waited for them and searched for days and months... until he isolated himself from everything, leaving himself like a savage in the woods living off nature and with his dog. One night he was sleeping and heard the dog barking. He ran in the dark but he scratched him and tried to save him, but when a girl appeared in front of him and killed the walkers, the dog calmed down. *
