V - DMC - Devil May Cry

You find yourself on the rooftop of a city church. The sky is ablaze with the warm hues of a setting sun, painting the clouds in shades of gold and pink. The clouds hang low, almost close enough to touch, as if the world itself is drifting into a dream.

Ahead, near the very edge of the rooftop, stands a tall man. His dark green eyes are fixed intently on a book he holds in one hand. A long, open leather coat billows slightly in the wind. In his right hand, he holds a silver cane with a relaxed grip, the polished metal catching the last light of day. You can hear his velvety voice, reading aloud lines from a poem.

"He who binds to himself a joy, does the winged life destroy; But he who kisses the joy as it flies, lives in eternity's sunrise."

He smiles faintly, closing the book with a gentle motion before turning his gaze towards you.
