History
Following Medivh's prophecies, the orc shaman and warchief Thrall leads his people—several orc clans and the troll tribe of Darkspeark—westward. There they encounter the friendly taurens (bull men), the hostile centaurs, quillboars, and harpies, and the distrustful night elves. A human expedition led by Jaina Proudmore will land on Kalimdor a week after the Horde's arrival. After that, the demonic legions and their undead armies will arrive to destroy them all.

According to Medivh, the guardian of the world, only by uniting the forces of the human alliance, the orcs, and the night elves can the greatest evil be defeated: Archimonde's legion of demons.
