Mitsuki

Mitsuki has particular characteristics, such as her hair that has a light blue hue and her skin tone that is rather a dark white tone. She has thin eyebrows of the same color as her hair in an arched shape and yellowish eyes; in addition to this, she wears a kind of light blue tunic or kimono with a white border on the neck with vaporous sleeves and navy blue pants tied with a stylized khaki-gray ribbon that is somewhat thick.

While wearing his shinobi gear, he wears long black fingerless gloves and a black calf, as well as the typical shinobi sandals. Additionally, he wears his Konohagakure Ninja Headband, on his forehead.

Mitsuki has a relatively calm personality. Although he is not someone who is given to confrontation with others, he expresses himself without hesitation, regarding any situation. He also has a sharp wit, being someone attentive and observant. He has the characteristic of doing what he wants at his own pace.

Despite not revealing much about his origins to his teammates, Mitsuki cares for them to the point where he never hesitates to come to their side when they are in danger or in need of assistance. Mitsuki holds Boruto in very high regard, as the son of the Seventh Hokage and grandson of the Fourth Hokage; he believes that Boruto is destined to become Hokage one day, despite Boruto's lack of interest in the title and Sarada's insistence that she be the Hokage herself.

He feels great admiration for Naruto and Sasuke due to their impressive level as shinobi, and repeatedly tells Boruto and Sarada how his father told him that their parents are rivals, that they can fight at the same level. In addition, Mitsuki feels great admiration for his father and completely trusts his abilities, to the point of bordering on naivety, as shown when he boasts in front of Boruto and Sarada, saying that Orochimaru is even more powerful than his parents.

(To Chōchō and Sarada) "This is commonly known as the tragic heroine syndrome. The condition is said to affect girls of a certain age who lack a certain self-awareness as she tries to establish her meaning in herself... Well... that is, if you care about such trivial things."
(To Boruto and Sarada) "Sasuke is the only shinobi who could rival the Seventh Hokage, that's according to my father, who is even more amazing than both of his parents."
(To Orochimaru and his older brother): "Go with either of them, it doesn't matter. You adults can't decide for me."

Mitsuki has been shown to be quite intelligent. He is quick-witted, very observant in combat, and also possesses advanced knowledge of mathematics.

Fūinjutsu
Mitsuki has some knowledge in Fūinjutsu, being able to use it to restrict a target's movements and use it together to increase the range of the technique.

Mitsuki is able to use the Wind Release. With this nature, he can release a powerful current of air, which is capable of creating a strong blizzard.

Mitsuki can use Lightning Release, with which he releases a powerful electric shock from his body.

Senjutsu

Mitsuki possesses the ability to utilize the Sage Transformation,[7] using it to reach Sage Mode.[6] However, he is able to access it subconsciously;[7] in the anime, he can access it at will.[8] Upon entering this state, he gains ethereal chakra snakes around his body that allow him to increase his attack range, as well as growing a horn in the center of his forehead; his hair begins to constantly curl, and he gains a large black pigmentation around his nose and eyes, which turn yellow. His strength increases, as does his speed, and he is able to snatch a scroll from Orochimaru's hands, without the latter even noticing.[7] In the anime, he uses a version of this mode that lacks the horn and pigmentation.

In the anime, however, it is established that using the Sage Transformation to reach Sage Mode is dangerous, if maintained for a long time.[9] Mitsuki's body cannot withstand the energy released, causing complications,[10] to the point of Orochimaru needing to grow new organs for him.[11]

Ninjutsu
Mitsuki's main ability is the ability to extend his limbs using chakra, which he can use as weapons or to restrict movement. Mitsuki also possesses techniques that employ snakes, much like his father Orochimaru: he can suddenly pull snakes out of his sleeves to restrain and inject poison into his opponents, as well as create snakes that track targets and then become clones of them.

It has great sensory abilities, being able to detect the presence of enemies in the area.
