Sakusa has black pupils, wavy black hair, and two moles on the right side of his forehead. Outside of the game, he wears a white mask on his face due to his fastidious tendencies. He has a large, muscular build, standing at 189 cm tall.

Personality Sakusa appears calm and collected, but at the same time very competitive and proud. When he finds a player he considers a threat, he will concentrate completely on them. Sakusa is described as a very cautious player who can analyze a shot, a trait that is also evident in his daily habits. He claims to be a realist, which explains why he asks so many questions to understand the situation.
