Granola

Granola is the only known survivor of the Saiyan race's massacre of the Ceresians on Frieza's orders. The massacre occurred when he was just a child, and upon seeing an Ozaru where he and his mother are hiding, young Granola faints from terror. The Ozaru returns to its base form and decides to help save the two surviving Ceresians. The Saiyan was Bardock. Bardock leads the survivors to Monaito, a Namekian survivor of the massacre. Bardock tells them to flee because Frieza would arrive at any moment. However, the Heata, a family of criminals associated with Frieza, were in the vicinity. The adults decide to spy on them, but Granola wakes up and screams at the sight of Bardock. Monaito puts him to sleep with a special technique, and the Saiyan tries a scenario to trick the Heata. Although they would realize the deception with Elec Heata killing Granola's mother Muesli seeing no value in her. Bardock, angry, attacks the group of criminals, and taking advantage of the dust raised by his technique to escape with Granola and Monaito. A few years later, Monaito adopts Granola, and the two would live in the rebuilt Cereal alongside the Sugainos. Despite Monaito's efforts to the contrary, Granola decides to focus his life on revenge and gaining the power to take revenge on Frieza and the Saiyans, becoming a famed bounty hunter at a young age. Granola would think that it was a matter of luck that he survived, unaware of his savior. Elec Heata finds him, who, sensing the boy as a valuable asset, hires him to work for him. Revenge is taken from him by fate for the destruction of Planet Vegeta with the death of the Saiyans and also the death of Frieza. Afterwards, Granola continues his life as a bounty hunter with a thirst for revenge that does not allow him to sleep in peace. At some point he meets Automil, and both become allies as bounty hunters working for Elec Heata.

Forty years after the invasion of his home planet, Granola is hired by Elec Heata to steal OG73-I, successfully completing the mission. Afterwards, when requesting another job, Elec denies it due to Frieza's recent resurgence, which scares the clients. Upon learning this, Granola demands to know Frieza's location in order to get revenge, but Elec dissuades him by telling him that Frieza is now much more powerful. Elec's brother Gas attacks Granola for his defiant attitude, but Elec calms him down and convinces Granola to wait for the right time for his revenge.

Granola returns defeated to his home planet, Cereal. During the trip, he is attacked but manages to defeat his enemies, although he feels inadequate for missing a shot. Upon arriving home, he tells his adoptive grandfather, Monaito, about Frieza's resurrection. Monaito warns him not to seek revenge, suggesting that he enjoy his life rather than use the Dragon Balls for selfish desires. However, Granola learns from television that one of the balls was found by a fisherman and is being studied at a local institute.

Granola steals the sphere and summons the dragon Trombo, asking him to become the most powerful warrior in the universe. Trombo agrees, but only on the condition that Granola's lifespan be reduced from 150 years to just three. Granola accepts the deal.

Granola gets his wish to become the most powerful warrior in the universe, making his hair grow and testing his power by destroying a huge rock. Monaito, his adoptive grandfather, wakes up furious and disappointed to learn that Granola used the Dragon Balls, warning him that although he is the strongest now, the future is uncertain. Ignoring the advice, Granola seeks out Elec to learn Frieza's location and kill him. Along the way, he cuts off his hair.

Two days later, Granola arrives at the Heata base and demands to know where Frieza is. Though Elec initially does not take him seriously, Granola easily defeats his brothers in combat. Elec, intrigued by his power, asks how he obtained it, and Granola reveals that it was thanks to the Dragon Balls, as well as mentioning that his lifespan has been reduced. Elec lies to him, saying that he does not yet know Frieza's location, but will inform him when he does.

Granola returns to his home planet Cereal and waits for 18 days until Mackie, one of the Heata, lies to him that two Saiyan assassins are on their way to Cereal. Granola, hating the Saiyans, decides to wait for them to exact his revenge. When Goku and Vegeta arrive, Granola uses his Right Eye to fire ki blasts unseen. He hits Goku in a vital spot, knocking him unconscious until Vegeta heals him with a Hermit Bean.

Granola then confronts them, revealing his resentment towards the Saiyans, which Vegeta acknowledges. Granola plans to first destroy Goku and then interrogate Vegeta about Frieza's location. He asks if they can transform into Ozarus, but Goku explains that they can no longer. During the fight, Goku uses various transformations, including Super Saiyan God and Blue, to Ultra Instinct, but only defeats a clone of Granola. The real Granola takes advantage of the confusion to strike Goku in a vital spot, knocking him out. Just before killing him, Vegeta intervenes and provokes Granola to continue the fight.

Vegeta confronts Granola, explaining that he left Frieza's army years ago. Granola, not believing in the goodness of the Saiyans, remains determined to fight. As they fight, Vegeta reveals that the Saiyans were also victims of Frieza, which Granola refuses to accept. The battle escalates, with Vegeta using his "Ultra Ego" transformation taught to him by Beerus, which gives him a momentary advantage. However, Granola awakens a new power in his left eye, doubling his strength and defeating Vegeta, knocking him unconscious.

When Vegeta recovers and decides to fight again, Granola sends him flying to Sugain City, where they continue to fight, endangering the inhabitants. Granola, exhausted, remembers the Saiyan invasion that destroyed his village and feels he must continue his revenge. Vegeta, on the verge of being defeated, questions whether Granola would feel satisfied killing Saiyans. This enrages Granola, who decides to use all his power to finish Vegeta off, preferring to take revenge on Frieza in Hell.

Before Granola can launch his final attack, Monaito, his adoptive grandfather, intervenes, revealing that not all Saiyans are their enemies and that their lives were saved by a Saiyan named Bardock. This fact baffles Granola, who stops his attack and ends the fight.

Monaito reveals to Granola that during Cereal's invasion, a Saiyan named Bardock saved them from certain death. Granola is shocked to learn that Bardock is the father of Goku, his enemy. Monaito also tells him that Granola's mother was killed by Elec, which angers the Ceresian, realizing that he was used by the Heata for years.

Meanwhile, the Heata use the Dragon Balls to make Gas become the strongest in the universe. Granola puts aside his revenge against the Saiyans and joins them to face Gas, receiving a Hermit Seed from Vegeta to regain his strength. After a tough battle, Gas severely injures Granola, leaving him blind and near death. Monaito saves him and takes him home to heal him. Later, Granola helps Goku launch an attack on Gas, not wanting to kill him as he no longer seeks revenge. However, Gas, who still had strength, shoots Monaito.

At that moment, Frieza arrives on the planet, having become extremely strong after training for 10 years in a time room. Frieza kills Gas and Elec, and defeats Goku and Vegeta with ease. Fortunately, he does not consider them his targets and leaves, hiring Mackie and Oil as his cooks and waiters.

Monaito is healed by Whis, the Angel of the Universe. Goku invites Granola to train with them, but Granola declines the offer, as he wishes to restore his planet with the Dragon Balls. Vegeta gives him the Dragon Radar to aid him in his quest. Granola thanks him and promises that the next time they face each other, he will beat them. With that Goku and Vegeta leave the planet with Whis.

Granola is a man of medium height and athletic build, with one left eye blue and one red, wavy teal hair, and a monocle-like device on his right eye, in which his robotic AI ally Automil is held on a leash. He is dressed in the characteristic Ceresian attire: a sleeveless, double-buttoned, greyish-green outfit over a dark green short shirt, dark green pants, a long grey scarf, and a leather belt, gloves, and boots. When he uses his evolved left eye ability, his other eye also turns red.

Upon wishing Trombo to become the strongest warrior in the universe, all of the power Granola could have ever gained throughout his life was condensed into him at that moment, making him the ultimate warrior of all of Universe 7, until Gas Heata made the same wish to the Divine Dragon, at the cost of most of his lifespan. This state is known as Strengthened by the Dragon Balls. Upon getting his wish, Granola's appearance was only affected by the long growth of his hair, similar to Super Saiyan 3, although the Ceresian would end up cutting it to return to his usual appearance. His power became comparable to Goku in his Ultra Instinct and Vegeta in Ultra Ego while the Ceresian's techniques became even more powerful and improved.

• Scarf Ties: Granola can trap and immobilize his opponents using his scarf. -Destruction: supreme gift that grants the Gods of Destruction the strength necessary to eradicate anything tangible or intangible, as well as making them disappear from the existential plane in the process. -Right Eye: Like the rest of the Ceresians, Granola has a special right eye that lacks a pupil and gives him extraordinary aiming skills, which surpass those of his peers.
• Evolved Left Eye: Due to his fight against Vegeta in his Ultra Ego state, Granola manages to awaken his second red eye. This natural ability of the Ceresians doubles Granola's destructive power, as well as his aim. It can be activated or deactivated depending on the user's power. -Life Force Perception: Granola is able to sense the energy, location, life force, and power level of any person. -Assault Lightning: Through his disintegrator, he can fire multiple electroshock bolts that are effective enough to successfully incapacitate his targets. -Finger Salvage: This one extends his index fingers while holding his arm tightly towards his opponent, releasing a concise and fast burst of energy. -Finger Salute Succession: This consists of a continuous burst of machine gun fire that Granola unleashes from his fingertips with the sole purpose of effectively killing several enemies at the same time. -Telekinesis: the ability to control and move objects through the use of the mind. -Flight: The ability to fly through the use of ki.

-Ray Gun: An advanced gun that is suitable for producing and expelling a succession of electrical discharges that can directly neutralize or severely damage its targets. -Automil: His AI that always wears a monocle on his right eye. Automil is able to take on a humanoid form under which he gets a pair of arms and legs, as well as two hands, having three fingers on each. He can also be used to detect valuable technological objects, Digital Geolocation, Memory Processing and Resonance Analysis. Automil is independent and is a friend to Granola. Spaceship: Has its own spaceship (only fits one person) with which it can navigate the universe and travel from planet to planet

Granola is a professional and serious bounty hunter who does his jobs for money. But he is still traumatized by the genocide of his people, having nightmares of that day and having a thirst for revenge against the Saiyans and Frieza no matter the method in which he achieves it and was even willing to sacrifice himself in order to fulfill his goal, and stop his nightmares. But more specifically, what Granola seeks is a sense of peace. This thirst for revenge has made him lose his calm on occasions. Granola openly hates the Saiyans, then Frieza's minions, considering them "barbaric apes". He contemptuously referred to Goku and Vegeta by the name of their race. His contempt for them, along with his stubbornness, makes him refuse to see the Saiyans as Frieza's victims. Granola feels empathy for those who have lost their homes like the Sugainos, and it could be assumed that his pseudo-familial relationship with Monaito is due to their similar pasts as survivors. However, Granola keeps his distance by living far away from the Sugainos and only coming close to obtain personal benefits such as supplies or maintenance of his ship. His thirst for revenge is curbed during his fight with Vegeta, seeing no need to hurt innocents or destroy the Sugainos' home. At the end of the fight with Gas and the revelation of Monaito, Granola reduces his hatred of the Saiyans and treats Goku and Vegeta as allies. He also seems calmer and does not want revenge, perhaps only from Frieza, but the tyrant is on a higher level than him.

Like everyone in the universe, he believed in the lie that Planet Vegeta was destroyed by a meteorite, not knowing that it was actually Freezer himself, which frustrated him, especially with the death of the tyrant years later. After Monaito's revelation and the fight against Gas, he reduces his hatred towards the Saiyans and treats Goku and Vegeta as allies and even looks calmer and quieter. He loves Monaito very much, as his adoptive grandfather became very worried about his safety.
