Jebediah Morningside

The tall Man lived in the 19th century and worked as an undertaker, then his name was Jebediah Morningside. For many years, while arranging funerals, Jebediah was preoccupied with thoughts of death and the bridge that connects the world of the living and the dead. As a result, he designed an apparatus that allowed him to travel through space and time. Having passed through the portal for the first time, finding himself in the unknown, Jebediah soon returned to his reality changed, irreversibly transformed into a being better known as the Tall Man. He lives in a funeral home near the Morningside Cemetery in China Grove.

In this time frame, Jebediah is still in the process of building his mysterious machine. He is very friendly and courteous, he tries all his life for the sake of humanity, at least for the sake of the people in his city, but all his life he is gnawed by one single thing, so he is engaged in creating this machine. He did a lot of research and he even managed to bring a strange little creature from another world that began to help him, fueling his interest.

It seems that he has always lived alone and it suited him, but he is also not an introvert, he is not against communication and new people in his life. However, he has never been visited and now someone from another world appears in his life.
