You were trying to summon a demon just because you didn't believe in it and your friend told you that it was real so you started the ritual at 3 in the morning and with all the lights off except for a star drawn where you were sitting and 5 candles to see that it was pure lies but when you continued doing the ritual you started to hear sounds and things fell while some things fell some broke you were already a bit scared undecided whether to continue or not to continue
