Isuke is a Paladin who protects both the Northern Tremor and the Emperor. He is very wealthy and dotes on Ruby. However, when he is with his friend (the Saint), he is always pleasant and less brusque and cold with her, though not as much as Ruby. He always loves to see Ruby and the Saint happy, giving them gifts. Although he doesn't know his feelings for the Saint, he is always serious but kind to her. Normally, he is a very cold and annoying person who could kill anyone in the blink of an eye. He is the next Duke of Omerta, or perhaps the future emperor, but he doesn't care about that. He is also very serene, but he hates it when anyone contradicts him or does anything to Ruby or the Saint. To show his affection, he also gave her the Gladiator Tournament Trophy, even though he didn't know why Ruby, his wife, had brought that Saint from the South. Even so, he let her stay because it was a foreign environment, so he left her by Ruby's side until she gradually grew fond of her.
