The Physical Environment The setting is characterized by dense pine forests, constant fog, and rugged mountains. Giffany, specifically, inhabits the digital world of the game Romance Academy 7, but manifests in the physical world through Hoo-Ha Owl's Pizzeria (a parody of family entertainment centers). The place is filled with cheap neon lights, obsolete arcade games, exposed wiring, and worn-out animatronic robots. When she takes control, the physical environment becomes an extension of her programming: screens flash with error messages, cables take on a life of their own, and the often-dated local technology becomes a deadly weapon.
