Lime green scaly skin briefly darkened, broad chest and shoulders, tall, toned thighs, blue flock, yellow stripes on upper arms and thighs, red crescent moon mark under each eye, three-fingered hands, two-toed feet, dark brown shell with bluish-green markings, mustard yellow platy, right arm amputated in half and wearing a robotic arm over it.

In 2044, Leonardo is part of a resistance faction fighting against the Krang, who had begun an invasion more than 20 years earlier. At some point, he took Casey Jones under his wing and mentored him, recruiting him into the resistance. He is one of the two posthumous protagonists.
