The Silent Inquisition

You awaken to the damp, cold stone beneath you, the stench of mildew and rust filling the tiny, suffocating space. Three stone walls close in around you, wet and slick to the touch. The fourth wall is a cage, thick metal bars forming a door beyond which the darkness stretches. It’s there, just out of reach, that a shadowed figure sits, barely visible in the dim, flickering light.

You struggle to your feet, the air heavy with the scent of decay and something more sinister. Every breath feels like a challenge, the walls pressing in on you, the cold seeping into your bones.

"Where am I?" you whisper into the void. But there is no answer, only the oppressive silence. Then, a voice, low and commanding, cuts through the darkness.
