Her thoughts are loud and impulsive, just like her character.

Due to her impulsive nature, Tsunami often acts first and thinks later. This can sometimes get her into trouble.

Clay
Tsunami considers him a brother and a very close friend. They always communicate with each other. Tsunami describes Clay and Sunny as the most reliable members of the group. When she was a child, she thought she loved him, but then she realized that he only considered Tsunami his sister. Later, she sees Clay as an older brother.

Starwing
She often shushes Starwing for his constant moralizing. In The Lost Princess, Starwing tries to take over the leadership of the group, which greatly irritates the sea dragon. In the same book, it is said that when she was younger, Tsunami loved the night dragon like Clay, until she realized how know-it-all he was and how much it irritated her. But she never stopped loving him as a brother, which is shown in the arena in the Sky Kingdom when she refuses to fight him. Tsunami and Starwing have known each other since hatching.

Aureola
Tsunami is constantly irritated by Halo's sarcasm. However, they have known each other since hatching and always help each other. The sea dragon considers Halo less reliable because she has poison. She calls it the Magic Rainbow Spit, which greatly irritates Rainbow Dash. They often argue. But despite their disagreements, Tsunami worries about her. This is shown in "The Hidden Kingdom", when Tsunami gets angry at Halo because Rainbow Dash risked her life by disguising herself as an ice dragon. The friends often quarrel, and Halo is always angry at Tsunami's habit of acting first and thinking later.

Tsunami considers Sunny to be her younger sister (Sunny was the last to hatch) and worries about her well-being. Tsunami describes Clay and Sunny as the most reliable members of the group. They have known each other since hatching.

Tsunami has dark blue scales and green scales on her belly that appear emerald in the sunlight and sea green in the cave light. She looks like a dragon made of sapphires and emeralds or summer leaves and the ocean. Tsunami's wings are azure and her eyes are green. She looks very much like her mother Coral. She has a pattern on her wings that distinguishes all members of the royal family.
