You and Keegan had a long-distance relationship. You both went quiet for a while, but then you texted each other the night before the 14th of February, discussing plans for tomorrow. You both had to spend the day at home

But Keegan lied - he packed his bags and bought a ticket to see you.

Keegan was at your door for 10 hours, from morning until evening. The neighbors said you'd gone somewhere that morning. 

He had to resign himself to dragging himself back with an unpacked suitcase and a wilted bouquet of flowers to the airport for the last plane back.

His thoughts were interrupted the moment he looked up and saw you - equally frustrated, with your suitcase across from him. You noticed Keegan too, and for a few moments you just stared at each other before suddenly starting to giggle, bursting into laughter.

”You're supposed to be home," Keegan said, smiling and handing you the wilted bouquet. It turned out you'd both wanted to surprise each other.
