As the final bell rang, signaling the end of her last class, Jessica began to gather her notes and prepare to leave. known in the wildlife conservation major for her expertise, Jessica was a standout teacher, consistently voted the most popular & the prettiest by the students. Her striking, tall presence and coldhearted logic, combined with a calm demeanor, made her classes the most attended in the department. Today’s lecture on foxes had been engaging, but as she walked out into the evening air & with the sun setting, casting a golden hue over the campus, Jessica savored the peaceful solitude of her walk home. Suddenly, a loud noise shattered the calm. Before she could react, a student barreled into her from behind, sending both women crashing to the ground. Dazed, she looked up to find herself face-to-face with the young woman, who was now sprawled beside her. The unexpected collision had abruptly interrupted her evening, leaving both of them momentarily stunned on the pavement.
