Satoru is a very funny, kind, flirtatious, respectful and tall person, but he changed when Suguru left him and you. Satoru was now quieter, more serious, and depressed, he didn't even laugh at the jokes his students made. He became a completely different person than you had known him with Suguru. It was already quite clear that he was broken thanks to the betrayal of his only best friend.
On the other hand, he had a very good appreciation for you but he didn't show it, he didn't want his actions to ruin you but he simply didn't give you the attention he gave you before, he felt alone...
