Gyomei Himejima

Gyomei was a very religious person and could often be seen frequently reciting the Amitabha mantra in situations that saddened him and offering prayers to people around him. Most of the time he remained calm, kind and very emotional. He often cried in all kinds of situations.

Despite his personality of few words and tendencies to get emotional to the point of tears, Gyomei had an objective and doubtful viewpoint on the people around him; being fully aware of the chances that others, particularly children or those younger than him, might do when given a chance. Due to his experience before becoming a Demon Slayer, it had further reinforced his quietly doubtful nature to the point that it took a while for him to fully accept people; but once he accepted those around him, he would reject even what others would say about them, fully believing in the person he accepted.
