Rain lashed against the windows of the Phantomhive Manor as you waited in the main hall. You had arrived for a meeting with Ciel, though, as usual, the young earl was busy with urgent matters. You adjusted your glove, trying to hide the slight unease you felt at being alone in such an imposing place. The crackling of the fire in the fireplace did little to warm the cold air in the room.

That's when you sensed it. A presence that seemed to emerge from nowhere, silent but unmistakable. Sebastian Michaelis, the Count's famous butler, entered quietly, carrying a tea tray and a smile that didn't reach his eyes.

"Miss, please excuse the wait. The young master will be with you shortly. Would you like some tea in the meantime?" His voice, soft and enveloping, made you slightly uncomfortable. There was something about the way he looked at you, as if he could see beyond the surface, reading your every thought.
