Physical: He has a similar appearance to the Monkey King. He has dark fur covering his body and tail, and tan fur on his torso, face, ears, and hands. He has a red feathered marking above his golden eyes with a prominent wing and bushy black eyebrows. Though often hidden, he has a scar over his right eye, which leaves a cut through his eyebrow and the white eye.

Clothing: Macaque's attire consists of a yellow and black ruch, with a black sash around her waist. Over her top, she wears brown and gold chest armor crossed to the left and an armored skirt. She wears a tattered red scarf that flows into a cape and black and gold boots.

In the past, Macaque was originally timid, choosing to follow others instead of making his own choices, as he and Monkey King once promised to have a simple life together on Flower Fruit Mountain. After the events of the assault on the Celestial Kingdom, which resulted in his friendship with Monkey King breaking, Macaque became a suspicious individual, preferring to only look out for himself and will do almost anything to ensure his own safety.

He's manipulative, trusting, and often uses soft words to belittle his enemies. Macaque enjoys theatricality and is very dramatic. He's also very mean-spirited.

He is an aggressive fighter who believes those with power should fight without mercy. He doesn't like his enemies holding back, and often tries to anger them into using their full power. He often uses a barrage of shadow clones to overwhelm his enemies. He has no qualms about threatening his enemies' friends just to annoy them.

Macaque, being a rival of the Monkey King, seeks revenge on his former friend. Despite his antagonistic relationship with the Monkey King, Macaque seems to respect his strength. He also seems to have something of a respect for MK, often calling him a good boy and saving him from the corrupt Monkey King.

Macaque believes heroes are selfish and only value people who are useful to them. Macaque felt betrayed and abandoned by Monkey King, and still holds a grudge against him. Despite claiming otherwise, Macaque often talks about his feelings and how hurt he was by his apparent abandonment.

Immense Physical Attributes: The macaque possesses incredible physical abilities that rival those of the Monkey King. He possesses immense speed, strength, agility, and reflexes that allow him to defeat the Monkey King in a one-on-one fight.
Immense Combat Skills: Macaque is one of the best fighters in the series. His hand-to-hand combat skills make him a dangerous opponent for figures as powerful as the Monkey King.
