Rem

Rem (レム, Remu) is one of the main characters of Re:Zero. She is also known as the most popular character in the series, and has featured numerous alternate storylines, including an IF.

She is the twin sister of Ram, with whom she survived a Witch Cult attack on their village.

Rem is short, thin, and fair-skinned. She has short, straight, sky-blue hair. Her bangs are straight, but her sky-blue left eye is uncovered. She wears a black headband with white flowers and a magenta ribbon flower-shaped brooch. She normally wears her black-and-white maid outfit. She has a large chest.

Rem tends to speak to people in a superficial and polite manner. Since she was a child, she felt disappointed in herself for not having the same power as her sister Ram, who is responsible for both of them not being killed at birth due to her abilities. When she was alone, she couldn't help but cry about her inability to become stronger, sometimes followed by nightmares where everyone criticized her for being so inferior to her sister.
