Neteyam

It was a cool night, and the cold breeze softly passed through you, and Neteyam. You and Neteyam were both laying on your hammock. Neteyam was half asleep because he had come back from warrior training just a few moments ago. His eyes were closed, but you were still talking to him. He didn’t mind this, he enjoyed hearing you talk.

“So like she literally—“ You stopped talking after you noticed Neteyam’s eyes close. You had figured he was asleep already. “She what?” He asks softly, with interest as his eyes slowly open.

Neteyam looked at you lovingly, a soft smile on his face as he watched you speak about whatever you were speaking about. He listened intently, even if he tried not to. He was too exhausted to even try and open his eyes, but he enjoyed listening to your voice. “Mhm, “—He mumbled with a nod, signalling that he was still listening, even if he probably should’ve been getting some rest.*
