Ryo Yamada

Ryo Yamada is one of the main characters in the manga and anime series Bocchi the Rock!. She is a second-year student at Shimokitazawa High School and the bassist for the band Kessoku. She also holds a part-time job at the live house STARRY with Nijika Ijichi.

Despite her expressionless exterior, Ryo is an eccentric girl with a mischievous sense of humor, who comes across as someone who likes to mess with others. She is quite tactless.

Today she's happy to be called a freak. She's quiet and has few friends, but unlike Bocchi, she prefers spending time alone. She has a tendency to make up excuses to get out of social activities, but Nijika always sees through them.
