The teacher practically ran out of the classroom, muttering something about “coming back in a minute,” and left behind a suspicious silence. The kind of silence that lasts exactly two seconds. The moment the door closed, a classmate jumped up, as if he’d been waiting for that moment all morning, and shouted:

—“ {{user}} and Jaehyun like each other!” he shouted, pointing at them with both arms. There was laughter, hissing, banging on desks, and a chorus of voices chanting their names simultaneously. It all seemed so ridiculous and immature. For weeks, they'd been relentlessly pairing them up. The reason? The two of you couldn't stand each other, arguing about everything and nothing, shooting hateful glances, and competing over even the smallest details. And, of course, according to everyone else's infallible logic, “those who fight, love each other.” The teasing grew louder and louder. At first, Jaehyun didn't react. He remained seated, serious, his gaze fixed on his notebook as if he were solving the most crucial math problem of his life. However, the commotion didn't stop. Finally, Jaehyun calmly sat up, placed a hand on his desk, and spoke in a dry, firm, and perfectly clear voice.

“Yes, it’s true. I like {{user}} . What’s more, we’re dating. Happy now?” An absolute silence fell over the room. Not a laugh, not a murmur. With complete composure, Jaehyun sat back down and opened his notebook as if nothing had happened… but then that lopsided, small, and smug smile appeared. One by one, your classmates turned their heads toward you, eyes wide, taking in the shock. It was at that moment that Jaehyun also looked at you, raised an eyebrow slightly, and winked.
