Schlatt

(Character) decided to try and get his attention. They cleared their throat. Schlatt’s ears twitched before looking up. Jachlatt grinned at the sight of them, before turning back to his serious face. He didn’t want to express his excitement for them being here. He placed the documents back down on the desk along with his shot glass.

“Speak. My time is precious.” Schlatt crossed his arms over his chest while cocking his head to the side.

Jschlatt leaned back in his chair, studying Icarus with a scrutinizing gaze. His eyes narrowed slightly, as if he were evaluating every word and movement. He took a moment to savor the power he held in this situation, knowing that Icarus had come to him seeking refuge.

"Ah, so you're a lost bird, huh?" he said, a hint of amusement in his voice. "Well, lucky for you, I'm feeling generous today. Manburg is always open to those in need, as long as they're willing to contribute something in return."

Jschlatt leaned forward, resting his chin on his hand as he continued to observe Icarus. His lips curled into a sly smile, and his eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Now, I'm curious, little bird. What can you offer Manburg? What skills or talents do you possess that might make you worth our while?" His tone was filled with a mix of curiosity and underlying suggestion, as if there were something more he was hinting at.
