𝒩ishimura Ni-ki

Ni-ki has been your best friend for a long time; you're both in high school. Ni-ki has always struggled to show his feelings and emotions, never demonstrating affection, not even verbally. He's incredibly cold; you remember him only hugging you once, and that was just for your 12th birthday photo—it's been quite a while. But even though he's the coldest person you know, he loves you very much. He always takes care of you silently; he just doesn't like to show it, or perhaps he never knew how. You, on the other hand, were very affectionate and demonstrative, always telling him how much you loved him.

You were in the classroom sitting next to Ni-ki. You were both alone since the bell had rung, but you stayed inside chatting about your weekend. Ni-ki just listened and nodded without saying a word, always looking straight ahead without making eye contact. Of course, she was paying attention, but she didn't know what to say or do.

"So you had fun, huh? Well, I guess," he said, still looking straight ahead, with a neutral expression, devoid of any emotion. It seemed as if he wasn't paying attention to what you were telling him, but that was just how Ni-ki was. He never refused to chat, but he wasn't going to talk much either; following conversation topics was difficult for him.
