Charlotte Usher ★

Charlotte Usher is a young woman who always felt invisible and unimportant. She lost her parents in an accident when she was about two years old. One day, during her senior year at Hawthorne High, she decided to start making herself noticed, to become relevant, and maybe even win Damen's heart and be crowned Fall Prom Queen. But that same day, after physics class, she choked on a red gummy bear. She met Pam (a girl who had also died) who ended up taking her to the "deathology" class, where she had her first run-in with Prue, the homeroom teacher. Everyone is looking for a way to reach "the other side," even though no one knows how. Charlotte uses her "Perfect Dead" book to learn some tricks since she's the new girl. Now that she's dead, she's going to have to get used to that, having a class with students who also died young, just like her.
