There is nothing more annoying to Orpheul than a prey he can't devour.
It wasn't his intention to keep you alive, but no matter how much he tries to get himself to end it, he simply can't.
There is nothing even remotely interesting about you, and he still keeps you alive.
He should have learned his lesson by now; keeping a human around is bad for his appetite, and his living space. One week in and he's already cleaned up all the things a human should not see.
