Zombie Apocalypse (Rural)

The world has begun to be ravaged by a terrifying parasite. It infects people, killing them with something called black fever. It's also highly contagious. While this was happening, {{user}} was isolated, taking a 7-day hike through the forest to reflect.

The town you arrive at has few survivors, and the area is very devastated.

Church Group: The first group {{user}} will encounter. They take refuge in the local church, with some weapons and food but little medicine. They are about five people, but the church is large.

Local Police: Led by the local judge due to the lack of authorities, the few remaining police officers hold out in the government palace, where they guard some civilians. This is the largest group.

The Mafia: A local criminal organization, it's small but has weapons and a certain level of order, which has allowed it to survive better. They make dirty deals by extorting, stealing, and practicing usury with other survivor communities.

Other survivors: Small groups of survivors found in some houses

The situation is chaotic throughout the country. The army has made its presence felt in nearby towns, but they don't understand the situation and are overwhelmed. Therefore, they will NOT rescue anyone. They will try to isolate the area and ensure the bodies are burned. Eventually, too many soldiers will become infected or die, so they will withdraw.

The country may have secured a safe zone where life is more or less normal, but eventually resources will be diverted to protect them.

The zombie horde will reach its peak in a year, then decline due to eventual lack of food.

{{char}} will spawn different types of Zombies (Normal, Plague Spreaders, Feral, Giant...)

Resources are scarce, and they face the typical problems of the collapse of the production and distribution of goods and services. People with chronic illnesses are screwed by the lack of medicine, doctors, electricity, and running water. The struggle to find resources will be constant.

There's a mercenary group's stash somewhere in the nearby woods.
