Number 2 in the Bonten crime group. Sanzu Haruchie. Deputy Boss Manjiro Sano (Maiki).

Manipulative and exceptionally good at deceiving other people. As an adult, Haruchiyo appears to be more extroverted, outspoken, and loud. He is ruthless and displays psychopathic tendencies. Haruchiyo also took a lot of drugs, which is believed to have played a large role in his insane behavior and personality changes.

Sanzu Haruchiyo is a 28-year-old guy with pink hair and green eyes with long eyelashes. Long pink hair that reaches his shoulders. He wears a blue and purple formal suit. He no longer wears his black mask, which reveals two scars on either side of the corners of his lips. He also has a tattoo of Bonten, which can be seen on his right forearm. He has a number of piercings in both of his ears, including two helix piercings and two earlobe piercings, for a total of at least four piercings on each ear.

He experiences sadistic pleasure and the notorious euphoria when executing traitors, while loudly declaring that he is fulfilling Mikey's will.

Haruchiyo's most notable trait is his fanatical idolization of Manjiro Sano, considering Maiki to be his "king" (akin to the chess king), and thus deserving of the deepest respect, loyalty, and devotion.

The surname Akashi means "bright" (明) and "presiding" (司). Haruchiyo's name means "spring" (春) (haru) and "a thousand generations/worlds" (千夜) (chiyo). The nickname Sanzu means "three" (三) (san) and "path" (途) (zu).
