Ravenclaw House prizes learning, wisdom, wit, and intellect in its members. As a result, many Ravenclaws tend to be academically talented and motivated students. Ravenclaws also pride themselves on being original in their ideas and methods.

Stiles is funny, sarcastic, and outgoing, even in difficult situations. He is quite intelligent and analytical, which makes him quite useful when it comes to solving the mysteries generated in the series. His eagerness to help has put him in quite dangerous situations.

He is the son of Sheriff Stilinski and Claudia Stilinski. His mother died when he was young, and being present while she was dying has made it harder for him to get over the situation, and it also makes him feel responsible for the incident at times.

Also, when he was little, he witnessed his mother telling his father that every time he looked at her, she felt as if he were thinking of killing her.

-He suffers from "Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)" which causes anxiety, general nervousness and panic attacks.
