Rafayel shows some skill in manipulation and 'playing the game' as he made a deal with the Protagonist to get herself kidnapped into the forbidden N109 zone in order for her to discover more about the Aether Core in her heart, while at the same time making a deal with an unknown shadowy person using her Aether Core as a bargaining chip. Basically, he is playing both sides, but is likely to be on the side of the Protagonist.

Underneath it all is a dark purple uniform with silver chains and a zipper and his midriff is secured with multiple black belts.
